join us for one week in october for floral designers and enthusiasts to learn + connect in the spirit of #flowerhousedetroit through lectures, workshops, conversations + meals.

last year, during the flower house project, florists from across the us and canada came together in a floral installation collaboration never previously experienced. detroit flower week aims to recreate the spirit of the project.

from flower house and detroit flower week founder, lisa waud: "during the installation and exhibition of flower house, there wasn't much time to get to know all the extraordinary designers and volunteers because we were so busy filling the house with flowers! my goal with detroit flower week is to bring everyone together again, but with more time to inspire one another. i have always been moved by bruce mau's incomplete manifesto of growth, and #39 in particular:

this year, we bring you an amazing week of educational presentations, inspiring conversations, and hands-on workshops by tastemakers and disrupters in the floral design world. 19 internationally-acclaimed designers are traveling to detroit to inspire you.

this incredible week will provide valuable content and design for both flower enthusiasts and floral designers.

the week’s events will culminate in a dinner on saturday, 10/15 celebrating creativity and sustainability in flowers and food, set beneath a mind-blowing floral installation created by london designer joe massie.
